We WANT to feed you; we want you to be happy with our service and food.

  • No! We hate feeling stuck or obligated. We want you to be able to order exactly the quantity and frequency you need in your life.

  • Yes! You can place an order on our website for pickup between 3:30pm and 5 p.m. on Mondays.

You can drop by Prairie Market during business hours to browse our ready-made meals.

You can also visit any of our grab-and-go freezer locations

  • We offer some catering services - please contact Dani at 306-221-9177 or skipabeetyxe@gmail.com to arrange group dining or event catering.

  • ABSOLUTELY NOT. All of our products are prepared in a licensed and inspected facility. Deliveries come from our kitchen to your door.

  • We are very emotionally attached to our planet. We work from a sustainability model that ensures very little waste. We don't waste any food - all food prepared is sold or donated. We try to buy whole animals and use tip to tail practices as well as supporting local farmers and butchers. We buy in bulk to reduce packaging and have active recycling and composting practices. Our containers are all single stream recyclable or compostable (ready for blue or green bin). Our deliveries go out all at once to reduce driving impact. Our equipment is mainly purchased secondhand. We create less than one bag of garbage per week and are always trying to improve.

  • Most meals being pre-ordered from the fresh menu can be adjusted to your preferences. Items on the frozen menu are all prepared in the same way for you - we are willing to create a batch just for you with the minimum purchase of ten units of that item.

  • We try to offer meals that are appropriate for everyone. Our menu includes items that are gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, vegetarian, keto, paleo, and whole30. You can see this information on each menu item. We do work in a commissary shared space so there is always a small risk of cross contamination of ingredients. If you have allergen or ingredient questions, please reach out to us.

  • We offer a variety of fresh and frozen options - you can see on our website which items arrive fresh vs frozen. Fresh meals should be consumed within 5 days of arrival. Frozen meals should last 60 days in your deep freeze.

  • Fresh meals - vent by popping up a corner of the lid, microwave on high for 2-4 minutes until hot.

Frozen meals in foils - we find it best to pop the meal out of the foil and place in a glass dish. You can defrost in the fridge or microwave, then microwave on high for 2-4 minutes until hot. Some meals in foils, like lasagna or shepherd's pies, heat up well in the oven at 375F.

Soups - you can heat from frozen in the microwave-safe plastic the soups arrive in. You can also warm them in a saucepan on the stovetop.

  • We have a standing menu of fresh salads and sides every week, with additional fresh specials that change weekly. We try to keep our best selling freezer meals in stock at all times as well as a rotation of alternate freezer meals that we add to weekly. Have a request? Send it to us and we will do our best!

  • You can place orders on our website by placing each item in the cart. You shop, place your order and we will send it out to you the following Monday. If you are having a hard time placing your order, please call, email, text, message, send a pigeon, whatever you gotta do! Our goal is always to feed you.

  • We focus on local ethical ingredients.

The majority of our meat comes from local farms with values that align with ours - grass-finished beef, pastured animals and we use tip to tail. Our eggs are all free-run, local eggs without the use of antibiotics with beautiful dark yolks. Locally grown pulses, wild rice, oats, potatoes, carrots, cabbage....

We grow many of our own vegetables through a multi-site community garden project which also supports 2SLGBTQ+ families in our community. In the cold weeks, we supplement with the highest quality organic produce available. We value the work of Saskatchewan producers and love to feature these beautiful foods in our market and our cooking. Many of these products are also available for purchase in our storefront Prairie Market. We pride ourselves on utilizing every part of the foods we consume. We use every part of the animals we purchase. All of our vegetable scraps are dehydrated and powdered. The offcut fats are rendered into tallow or lard. We compost on-site to feed our urban agriculture project.
